Michigan Tradition for 25 Years
The Flat Rock Eagle Club
is a well known standard in Michigan bluegrass.

Since the
early 1980s, the Huron Valley Eagles Club has been a Detroit
area favorite for bluegrass music fans. Michigan bluegrass fans
and musicians have enjoyed some great music over the years at
the Huron Valley Eagles, and the tradition continues with a
line up of quality bands like Bobby Osborne and the Rocky Top
Express, Rhonda Vincent, Bobby Hicks, Ernie Thacker, and Alecia
Nugent. Since its beginnings, the Huron Valley Eagles has hosted
legendary bands that include Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys,
Ralph Stanley, J.D. Crowe, the Country Gentlemen, Doyle Lawson,
the Virginia Squires, and Del McCoury.
Bluegrass
bands that are booked at the Eagles can always count on other
local bands to come out and support them. Typically this means
they will get up and do a set while the host band takes a break.
You can always find musicians at the Eagles Club ready to jam
after the show is over. This has been a tradition at the Huron
Valley Eagles Club for many years. The Eagles Club is not only
a place for musicians, but also for fans who just want to come
out to hear good bluegrass music, visit with friends, grab a
bite to eat, and even dance. Fun can be had by all!
Some of
the local bands you can expect to hear at the Eagles Club include
Roy Cobb and the Coachmen, Marion Blue, The New Memphis Express,
Harris & Ellis Band, The Mike Adams Band, Blue Roads and many
others.
Bluegrass
music at the Huron Valley Eagles Club runs year round on Saturday
evenings. All shows begin at 8:00 PM unless otherwise noted.
Bring your families with you and enjoy a great night of food,
fun, and music. If you like to pick, donŐt forget to bring your
instrument for some after show jams. There are often special
shows on Fridays or Sundays - check their schedule! For more
